This traditional yagya will take place over a 3 day period in Varanasi. The yagya is intended to honor and bring peace to both previous and future generations of our family. The yagya ensures speedy progress to liberation (moksha) in this or a future life. And it provide relief for those who have a difficult Saturn period underway.
Benares is considered to be the city of Shiva, and for those who are attracted to this deity, to have a yagya performed here is considered to be highly auspicious. |

Two day Ganesha and Lakshmi Yagya ($51) For removal of Obstacles and the Creation of Abundance and Prosperity

On the first day, the focus is on Ganesha who removes all obstacles to the full enjoyment of life. The priests will perform a full Ganesha Yagya as well as yagyas for the nine planets and the major deities.
On the next day, our priests will perform a full routine of Vedic pujas and homams (fire yagyas) for Lakshmi and the nine planets (again) to enhance our enjoyment of abundance and both inner and outer wealth. Combined, these two yagyas create a continuing influence that encourages the resolution of problems, removes obstacles, and adds wealth in all its various forms. This is the two day monthly yagya for those who subscribe to the series on an on-going basis. |

We continue our series of yagyas in the ancient temples surrounding Kanchipuram. This month we are performing our yagya at a Kanaka-Durga temple dedicated to the form of the Divine Mother who gives all wealth and enjoyment. This yagya enhances our ability to attract abundance and wealth in all forms into our life. When we have the blessings of the Divine Monther, we enjoy life with greater fullness and depth. |
