Please join us for the amazing combination of yagyas designed to enhance and protect all aspects of life. We begin on Oct 20th with a 50 priest Lakshmi yagya to attract prosperity and abundance in all its forms.

The program continues the next day with a 5 priest yagya to celebrate Dhanvantri Jayanti - the birthday of a form of Vishnu who is the "Divine Physician" bringing the knowledge of healing and amrita, the nectar of immortality.

On Oct 23rd, we celebrate Divali (also known as Diwali or Deepavali) a traditional festival of light that is celebrated by lighting diyas (oil or ghee lamps) to celebrate the victory of light over darkness and good over evil. Traditionally it is a time when Lakshmi is happy, easily reached, and ready to bless the lives of her devotees.

Also on the 23rd, we begin a 10 Day series called Skanda Shasti, the festival that celebrates the defeat of the demon Taraka by Skanda (also known as Subramanya or Murugan), the son of Shiva and brother of Ganesha.

Murugan is the embodiment of the dynamic cheerful energy of Mars and functions as the celestial General in the devas' eternal struggle against the demons.

Yagyas that are performed during Skanda Shasti help to balance Mars energies in our Jyotish chart, and greatly add to our personal power and ability to experience and enjoy the divine in daily life.
