9 Day Shiva/Parvati Yagya Series
including Ancestor, Goddess, and Anadanam Yagyas - ($111).

For the first time we have organized a nine day series of yagyas in Varanasi which focus on deepening our inner spiritual awareness along with the enhancement of our personal "power" in the world.

These yagyas begin with 5 days of Shiva/Parvati Yagyas, followed by a day-long yagya to honor previous generations of our ancestors, three days of Goddess Yagyas for Power, Wisdom, and Prosperity.

Finally, in the spirit of giving and helping to preserve the great Vedic spiritual traditions, we offer special gifts of food to both young Brahmins studying to become pundits, as well as to a group of highly spiritual sadhus, who have given up a comfortable life in order to fully commit their lives to the attainment of enlightenment.

9 Day Shiva/Parvati Yagya Series
including Ancestor, Goddess, and Anadanam Yagyas - ($111).

This option includes every Varanasi yagya in September, as detailed in the section below.

Be a "Maha Sponsor" for $250. This option makes you an honored participant in all of the Varanasi and Kanchiuram yagyas during the month of September. Your participation at $13/day for a total of 19 days of yagyas includes the special 111 priest yagya.

Additionally, the priests in Varanasi will be performing a special moksha puja for the maha sponsors as their gift in thanks for your support. Special prasadam will be mailed to you after the yagya series concludes

 

5 Day Shiva and Parvati Peace and Harmony Yagya ($75)

This yagya is an intense series of daily Rudra Abishekam and Rudra Homam for Shiva and additional Vedic yagyas for Parvati. The first 4 days of yagyas are performed by 16 pundits, and the final day, which takes place on the Full Moon is performed by 111 priests. Maximum power!

The focus on the individual level is for personal enlightenment and the development of deep spiritual silence, coupled with an increased sense of personal power and success in daily life.

All Shiva/Parvati yagyas radiate a powerful peaceful influence both individually and throughout the universe. While we can not measure this influence directly, at least philosophically it is another reason to make this gesture towards the dvelopment of peace in our world.

Saturday, September 15 through Wednesday September 19 (Full Moon Day)

Five Day Shiva/Parvati Yagya- ($75)

 

111 Priest Shiva and Parvati Yagya ($51)

What could be better than a traditional vedic yagya performed by 111 priests on the banks of the Ganges, in this sacred city of Shiva and Parvati! This all day event will include the recitation of special vedic mantras and the performance of Rudra Abishekam and Homam multiple times by our highly qualified Vedic Pundits.

Shiva is the giver of deep spiritual enlightenment, and all success and worldly power are the gift of Parvati. This yagya will enhance your success in and enjoyment of life and remove inner obstacles
to your progress towards enlightenment.

Wednesday, September 26 (Full Moon Day)

Ancestor Yagyas ($51)

Traditionally, Varanasi is a special place for the performance of yagyas to ensure the spiritual and material support of previous family generations. We have offered these yagyas for the past four years and participatants have enjoyed the opportunity to perform a yagya that benefits those who have already passed.

Special Ancestor Yagya - ($51)

 

3 Day Durga, Saraswati, Lakshmi and Ganga Yagya ($35)

In addition to Shiva, Varanasi is a special place for the goddesses in all forms. For these three days the focus will be on Durga, Saraswati, and Saraswati (above left photo) and on the final day, the Ganga. This yagya is for prosperity, personal power, and abundance in all forms.

Friday through Sunday, September 28, 29, and 30

Special Three Part Goddess Yagya - ($35)

 

Anadanam - Gifting of Food Yagya ($27)

Varanasi is a very special place for Shiva and Parvati. At one time they made a deal with each other, if Shiva agreed to attend to the enlightenment of people, Parvati in the form of Annapurni, the goddess of food, promised to make sure everyone who is working towards enlightenment would be fed.

In this yagya, we offer food to a local school (patasala) where young boy are studying to become Vedic Pundits. htey lead a fairly simple life, so this meal is a special treat for them. In the second part of the yagya, we feed a group of very special sanyasi. Their blessings are very powerful!
