Yagya Series ($131)
Fri, Feb. 2nd though Fri, Feb 16th.

Fourteen days of yagyas starting with the Satyanarayana Full Moon yagya, Ganesha yagya, Lakshmi yagya, and the full Maha Rudra yagya for 12 more days concluding on Shivaratri, February 26th.

Participants will recieve an audio CD of Rudram and Rig Veda chanting prior to the event.  Following the yagya they will receive sacred ash from the yagya fire and a video CD of the yagya events.

 
 

Ganesha
1,008 Modaka Yagya ($31) Saturday, Feb 3rd.

This unique one day 6-7 hour yagya honors Ganesha as the remover of obstacles. This special time of year and this special yagya sequence offers 1008 sweet modaka balls, Ganesha's favorite food, in the yagya fire.  One modaka is offered with each of the 1008 sahasranam Ganesha mantras.

Lakshmi
1,008 Bilva Leaf Yagya ($31)
Sunday, Feb. 4th.

Lakshmi is the bestower of abundance in all forms; health, wealth, and happiness.  Mythologically she is the result of the churning of the ocean of milk which is symbolic of the process of spiritual unfoldment. 

At the beginning of the yagya series we first ask for Ganesha and and Lakshmi's blessings.  In this special yagya we offer bilva leaves and bilva wood (her favorites) into the yagya fire.  Additional ingredients are sweet rice, pomegranites, and dates, sandalwood, kumkum, turmeric, and other herbs, spices, and fruits.

All participants will recieve an audio CD of Sri Suktam, Padmavati Stotram, and other Lakshmi selections from the Vedic tradition. Following the yagya they will receive sacred ash from the yagya fire and a video CD of the yagya events.

11 Day Maha Rudra Yagya ($108)
Feb. 6th through Feb. 16th

This traditional yagya features 11 priests performing Rudra Abishekam 11 times each day followed by a full Rudra Homam (fore yagya) for a period of 11 days leading up to Shivaratri.

Maha Shivaratri Yagya ($31)
the night of Feb. 16th

This yagya takes place during the night of Shivaratri.  Both in America and in India we will perform the traditional Rudra yagya followed by 11 repetitions of Rudram Abishekam throughout the night.  This means that participants will receive almost 24 hours of yagyas on this day!
