Eclipses are a unique and special time for spiritual practices, particularly as they relate to the nine planets. It is said that the effects of mantras are multiplied many times, with some texts saying each repetition during an eclipse is equal to one thousand at any other time. We are going to take maximum advantage of this opportunity for mantra japa and pujas.

During the time of the eclipse, our priests will be performing a long series of mantra repetitions (Navagraha, Rahu and Ketu, and Nakshatra mantras) and special pujas at a beautiful temple on the banks of the Cauveri River.
