Planetary Pujas in Kanchipuram ($30)

Generally when having a chart reading with a Jyotishi, you will be given some recommendations for planets that would benefit from remedial measures (upayas) in the form of pujas for specific planets. We have a priest dedicated to performing these private pujas at various temples of Kanchipuram. Each puja will include an offering basket of fruit, lotus flowers or a jasmine mala, and a coconut. The puja itself will include the traditional ashtotra (108 names) recitation or sahasranam (1008 names).

Navagraha Group Yagya ($37)

A yagya includes both pujas and the fire ceremony called homam or havan. This group yagya is performed once a month, or it can be performed as a small private yagya (see below), or as part of the three day Foundation Yagya series, which adds Ganesha and Lakshmi yagyas.

Navagraha yagyas facilitate the resolution of difficult karmas and remove obstacles to success in life.  They are supportive and life affirming and can lighten the sometimes overwhelming weight of difficult circumstances.   Since difficult times develop slowly, it must also be expected that they will dissipate gradually. Best results are obtained through repeated participation in this yagya as the movement of the planets is a gradual thing.

This yagya covers all nine planets in one five hour day of yagyas.

These three days of yagyas form the basic yagya monthly subscription series; one day of yagyas for each of Ganesha, Lakshmi, and the Navagraha (9 planets).  Particularly when repeated monthly, these yagyas result in the development of a strong and continued experience of spiritual protection and abundance.  This particular combination of yagyas are very effective at enhancing and deepening the effects of the other yagyas offered each month and combine very well with the 3 day temple yagyas.

These are called Foundation Yagyas because there are few problems could not be solved if a few obstacles were removed (Ganesha) or we had either more physical resources, or a greater sense of satisfaction and abundance (Lakshmi)., or just more balance in life (Navagraha).
