In the vedic tradition Shiva is the deep unfathomable silence that is the foundation for the dynamic universe that the goddesses animate. Last month, the yagya series was designed to purify our karmas and deepen our peaceful inner silence.

On the basis of the potential gained through the Shiva yagya, the program this month develops our goddess based shakti power so that we are increasingly able to create what we want in life and to overcome any potential obstacles in our path.

This shakti power is manifest by the goddesses in the form of Durga (power), Saraswati (wisdom), and Lakshmi (abundance).

Each day of the 10 day program will focus on all three with a special emphasis first on Durga, then Saraswati and ending with Lakshmi. We will also have 3 days of temple yagyas to complete the program.

Pavamana Soma Yagya ($27)

This yagya from the Rig Veda, is performed in order to remove bad karmas created during this lifetime, and to stimulate the development of our nervous system so that it supports enlightened consciousness and divine awareness.
