21 Day Shivaratri Yagya Program
|

The annual Shivaratri festival is a unique time when the Vedic rituals for Shiva are most effective and his blessings and protection are more easily received. These are the most elabortate and comprehensive yagyas that we perform every year. As with all yagyas and mantras maximizing the number of repetitions is the key to the power and success of the yagya.
From February 19th to March 11th, our priests will perform two complete Maha Rudra Yagyas featuring 1,464 recitations of the lengthy Sri Rudram text over each 10 day period, for a total of 2,928 repetitions of this very powerful mantra. We conclude with an all night program in both Kanchipuram and Varanasi on Shivaratri, March 11th followed by a soothing Ganga Yagya in Varanasi. This program also marks the completion of our two year Ati Rudra Yagya of 14,641 recitations of the powerful Sri Rudra mantra from the Yajur Veda, and the beginning of our 2021/2022 Ati Rudra Yagya. This yagya has been performed over the past two years in Kanchipuram and Chidambaram (known as the original source of Shiva Nataraj - the dancing Shiva).Participating in this program brings the Ati Rudra yagya benefits to you; removal of obstacles, a smoother life experience, prosperity, family harmony, good health, protection, and progress towards enlightenment. The complete 21 Day Yagya Program includes: -Morning 11 repetitions of Sri Rudram with abishekam plus Navagraha, Nakshatra, Godess, Health and other Yagyas at Puja.net in Kanchipuram -Sri Rudram repetitions in Chidambaram Shiva Temple by 15 priests. -A final soothing sunrise Ganga Yagya in Varanasi on March 12th. |
