This month's yagya program focuses on the Nine Planets (Navagraha) because of the major plaanetary changes that are upcoming. Jupiter will join the vedic planet Rahu in Aries for the twelve months. Traditionally Jupiter/Rahu is considered to be a difficult combination and may result in some turmoil especially as Jupiter's transition from Pisces to Aries takes place.

When planets are making the transition from one sign to another it is an ideal time for performing remedial measures. The yagyas will enhance the positive manifestation of the planets and will reduce the influence of those that are negatively placed in our birth charts.

April includes a solar eclipse on the 20th. Eclipses are uniquely suited to the performance of yagyas because the power of mantras gets magnified manyfold. We have arranged for a 50 priest Lakshmi Yagya to be performed in Pune during the eclipse. This will enhance our experience of material and spiritual abundance throughout the year. We can always use more of that!

Jupiter's positive energies are diminished as he makes the transition from Pisces to Aries through early May. Jupiter's protective energies will be further diminished by the presence of Rahu until November 2023. That makes these yagyas especially important.

Our priests will be performing our yagyas in the famous ancient temples of the Kumbakonam region in southern Tamil Nadu. These temples are uniquely beautiful and the spiritual atmosphere in each is unmistakeable.
