21 Day Rig Veda/Shiva Ratri Yagya
($210) Feb. 14 to March 8, 2005

This yagya consists of 21 days of yagyas starting with the Ganesha, Rig Samhita Yagya, Lakshmi yagyas and followed by the Maha Rudra yagya for 12 more days concluding on Shivaratri, March 8th.

This yagya includes all the yagyas listed below.

Participants will recieve an audio CD of Rudram and Rig Veda chanting prior to the event.  Following the yagya they will receive sacred ash from the yagya fire and a video CD of the yagya events.

 
 

Ganesha 1,008 Modaka Yagya ($27) - Feb 14, 2005

This one day, 6-7 hour yagya honors Ganesha as the remover of obstacles. In honor of this special time of year and this special yagya sequence, we are offering 1,008 sweet modaka balls, his favorite food, in the yagya fire.  One modaka is offered with each of the 1008 main Ganesha mantras.

Rig Veda Samhita Yagya ($101) - Feb. 14 to 23, 2005

This rare and profound yagya is unparalleled in its abilty to foster deep spiritual peace and fulfillment in life. It is performed by specially trained Vedic pundits who will recite all of the 10,000+ lines of the Rig Veda while makingl traditional offerings of ghee, wood, and various other materials in the yagya fire. 

The performance will begin with 1 day of Ganesha yagya, 8 days of Rig Veda yagyas, and 1 day of Lakshmi yagya.

Participants will recieve an audio CD of Rudram and Rig Veda chanting.  Following the yagya they will receive sacred ash from the yagya fire and a video CD of the yagya events.


 

Lakshmi 1,008 Bilva Leaf
Yagya ($51)
Feb. 23, 2005

Lakshmi is the bestower of abundance in all forms; health, wealth, and happiness.  Mythologically she is the result of the churnign of the ocean of milk which is symbolic of the process of spiritual unfoldment. 

At the conclusion of the Ganesha and Rig Veda yagyas we ask for Lakshmi's blessings through this special yagya in which we offer bilva leaves and wood (her favorites) into the yagya fire.  Additional ingredients are sweet rice, pomegranites, and dates.

Participants will recieve an audio CD of Sri Suktam and Padmavati Stotram. Following the yagya they will receive sacred ash from the yagya fire and a video CD of the yagya events.

Maha Rudra Yagya ($101)
Feb. 26 to March 8, 2005

This traditional yagya features 11 priests performing Rudra Abishekam 11 times each day followed by a full Rudra Homam (fore yagya) for a period of 11 days leading up to Shivaratri.

Maha Shivaratri Yagya ($51)
March 8, 2005

This yagya takes place during the night of Shivaratri.  Both in America and in India we will perform the traditional Rudra yagya followed by 11 repetitions of Rudram Abishekam throughout the night.  This means that participants will receive almost 24 hours of yagyas on this day!
