4 Day Satyanarayana Yagya
|
|
The yagya enhances peace and harmony between husband, wife, children and other family members. It develops and protects smoothness in our external circumstances and enhances our enjoyment and ability to live in balance and harmony. It is a gentle yagya that combines the protection of Vishnu with the fullness of Lakshmi. As with all Vedic technologies, repetition is key to the development of strength and effectiveness. Tthe repetition of this yagya on 4 consecutive days develops depth of experience resulting in greater power and longer lasting results from the yagya. The yagya consists of a 4 hour morning puja ritual followed by a full fire yagya for Vishnu and Lakshmi. This yagya can be combined with the 3 day Ganesha/Lakshmi/Navagraha series to create a 7 day yagya series. |

Ayyappa Temple Yagya
|

Ayyappa is an interesting deity who is the "son" of Vishnu and Shiva and so he symbolically represents harmony of the diverse qualities of life; material and spiritual, worldly and ascetic. As such, he nicely compliments the Satyanarayana yagyas we are performing this month. This temple yagya will add grace, peace and harmony to your yagya experience. Ayyappa combines Vishnu's care for worldly matters with Shiva's love of the transcedent. So this yagya is intended to enhance and deepen your experience of the material and spiritual. As always, we are performing this yagya in a traditional village temple in the area surrounding Kanchipuram. We provide all the ingredients, flower malas, etc, plus our staff of trained and experienced vedic pundits. This event is a significant contribution to the temple and village. It is our way of supporting and helping to preserve the vedic tradition in India. |

2 Day Ganesha and Lakshmi Foundation Yagya

This is the basic yagya for our monthly subscription series; one full day of yagyas for Ganesha and one for Lakshmi. It has been our experience over the years that these 2 yagyas (particularly when repeated monthly) result in the development of a strong sense of spiritual protection and abundance. We call them foundation yagyas because it is difficult to imagine what problems could not be solved if a few obstacles were removed (Ganesha) or we had either more physical resources, or a greater sense of satisfaction and abundance (Lakshmi). |

It is also very good for those who may have health problems. Traditionally mrytunjaya yagya is prescribed for those who are completing their lifetimes as it remove the fear of their transition from this world. |

Sudarshana and Narasimha Yagya

Sudarshana is Vishnu's weapon (a discus of light) and this yagya is used to remove severe obstacles. It is particularly effective for those who are faced with conflicts, lawsuits, and specific forms of opposition. Narasimha is the incarnation of Vishnu who also helps to remove obstacles, and specifically protects family harmony. |

7 Day Personal Yagyas |
|
A personal yagya can be a very effective way of relieving a difficult trend in life, of enhancing a good trend, or of deepening one's spiritual practices and experience of divinity. For 7 days, a vedic priest perform a 1 hour daily puja and 1008 repetitions of the appropriate mantra to provide assistance from a spiritual foundation to help you accomplishing whatever goal you have in mind. On the 7th day he will join the group yagya and perform the full 5 hour yagya as your own private priest. |

Private Yagyas |
|
A private yagya consists of a full day's dedicated effort on your behalf. Five of our most experienced priests will perform 2-3 hours of pujas and mantra japa on your behalf, followed by a full 1-2 hour fire yagya (homam). The focus of a private yagya can be particularly instrumental in lightening a difficult trend in life, solving a specific proble, removing a troublesome obstacle, or of dramatically deepening one's spiritual practices and experience of divinity. The priests will perform a full puja and 1008 mantra japa repetitions of the appropriate mantra to provide assistance from a spiritual foundation. This is followed by the the full 1-2 hour fire yagya (homam) featuring an additional 1008 mantra repetitions with the traditional offerings into the yagya fire. Those who purchase a private yagya are also included in the full yagya schedule during that month. So in addition to the 1 day private yagya, they are also full sponsors of the 10 day yagya series at no additional charge. |
